I have 3 needs in my life, which can be met by anyone, not only someone from Ukraine. But because of my 15-year commitment to help Ukraine, I think it’d be even better if any or all of these opportunities would be taken by a Ukrainian because then I’d also be rescuing a war refugee, internally displaced Ukrainian, or someone in Ukraine who’s still in their native city.
Tragically, because Putin is more deranged than anyone predicted, & doesn’t care how much suffering he inflicts (including on his own people) to try to recreate a new “greater Russia” (restored empire) to burnish his “legacy”, Ukraine will be in ruins for years to come. This makes me cry because I’ve visited every major Ukrainian city over the past decade.
