French-speaking SEO expert wanted. The location can be in Cluj-Napoca, Romania or remote.

The objective of the position is to manage, autonomously or in collaboration with others, various SEO projects. You will ensure continuous organic traffic growth of the managed websites by improving search engine rankings and by looking for new keywords ranking opportunities. You will collaborate and work together with other SEO consultants, an inbound marketing consultant and a web developer to implement advanced technical changes.

Daily tasks:

• Create, implement and develop SEO strategies
• SEO project management: briefing clients (in French and English) and team leader on developments and issues, understanding needs, checking KPIs.
• Keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization, technical audits, competition analysis and linkbuilding activities or recommendations.
• SEO actions: recommendations to the client and implementation of actions according to the audit.
• Monitoring and reporting: performance, task and budget monitoring, reporting to client and team leader.

Cross-functional tasks:

• Site audit: technical analysis, blocking factors, semantics, netlinking.
• Optimise performance of existing sites or optimise before launching online.
• Proactively analyse and identify new organic and traffic growth opportunities.
• Setting goals for each site, monitoring and reporting monthly rankings and traffic.
• Analyze logs of bot activity for SEO.
• Optimize indexing of high volume sites.
• Ongoing monitoring, research and development in technical SEO.

Know-how:

• You have at least 2-3 years' experience in a similar position (agency/freelance).
• You can speak French and English at business level.
• You can handle project management.
• You are familiar with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Adobe Analytics, Piwik/Matomo etc.) and premium SEO tools (SEMRush, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs ...).
• You master the fast technical SEO analysis of a website, and you can discover indexing problems after a brief audit.
• The concepts of meta tags, indexing, crawl budget, on-site optimization, linkbuilding are not foreign to you at all.
• You are familiar with at least one CMS (Wordpress, Drupal, Magento) and HTML/CSS languages.
• Google Analytics or Google My Business certifications are appreciated.
• Google Ads knowledge is a plus
