About the programme
At Introduct Academy, We are looking for 30 motivated people to join Introduct Academy to learn Elixir.
Starting from 1st February 2024, the study process takes place in our physical classes, during workdays in our study base in Kyiv.
INCLUDING PAID SCHOLARSHIP DURING STUDIES
- Academy terms & conditions
- Target technology: Elixir/Phoenix/Ecto/LiveView/Protobufs and many other topics and tools.
- Study period: 12 months, beginning February 1st 2024
- Engagement form: fully official employment contract (all taxes paid) in a form of GIG contract in DIIA.CIty regime
- Scholarship amounts (neto, meaning this is the amount you will get on hands, in UAH, whereas the stipendium is fixed in USD, thus people are getting paid in UAH, but by the official USD exchange rate on the day of payment:
- Months 1 and 2: 156 USD/month
- Months 3 to 5 (inclusive): 200 USD/month
- Months 6 to 8 (inclusive): 350 USD/month
- Months 9 to 12 (inclusive): 600 USD/month
- After finishing the academy, we put you on a commercial project (guaranteed by the company) in a developer role, and your starting salary will be 900 USD/month (same terms as above) and you will have to work for us for 36 months.
- During those 36 months, your salary will mandatorily increase 10% a year, that means:
- After first year your salary will be 990 USD/month
- After the second year it will be 1089 USD/month
- Third year 1197,90 USD/month
- Fourth year the salary will be negotiated should you decide to stay, or you are free to chose another employer shall you wish to.
- The study process takes place in our physical classes, during workdays from 9 to 6, physically (no remote) in our study base in our offices in Kyiv.
- We supply with all equipment in our training base, and you are treated as an employee (thus get all benefits as normal employees) during training.
- Trainees will be trained in 3 parallel streams:
- Social skills and working in IT (+/- 25% of the time)
- English language (+/- 25% of the time)
- Technology skills (+/- 50% of the time)
- During the training Introduct Group has the right and to fire people who are not performing. Termination is with 1 day notice, decisions held on Fridays, based on the three trainers consillium.
- During the last 3 months, trainees will be also trained on 2 actual real life customer projects, (where they will be appointed after the training), this will be done in the respect of social and English training. Thus by the time the trainees will be appointed to the project, they will know that project from down to the bottom.
- The training on that part will be handled by our engineers working on those projects.
- We expect full time commitment from the trainees, thus this is the reason we are paying the stipendiums.
- After finishing the training, the company will not terminate your contract during 3 years (unless you knowingly ignore the requirements) thus you are guaranteed a fair workplace.
- Shall you want to finish the course on your own will during the training phase, it's free of charge during the first 6 months, after that, you will have to reimburse the amount of money spent on your training.
- Should you wish to terminate the engagement after the training (12 months) period, you will have to reimburse the amount of money spent on your training, minus the amount of money you have earned the company back during your working period (meaning that the mandatory reimbursement amount goes lower with time, the more you work for us during those 36 months). Each of such calculations are done individually.
