Main Mission 

You are a major player in the implementation of cross-functional IT initiatives accountable for the delivery of an end-to-end solution design that fulfil the functional, non-functional, security and resilience requirements. 

This role requires the ability to exchange and build with domain architects upstream of the process and to be able to coordinate and dialogue with the IT engineering experts in a very operational way.

The solutions delivered under your accountability must meet business needs and non-functional requirements, ensure they are in line with the enterprise architectural plan and provide qualitative value.

Description

In the context of an initiative/ a project, you define, document and deliver practical and cost-effective end-to-end solution design for your division or across divisions to meet business needs and non-functional requirements while ensuring design compliance with enterprise architecture standards and principles, delivery’s standard solutions and design patterns and quality standards.

In the context of an initiative/ a project, you dialogue, work, collaborate and communicate with many actors upstream and downstream involved in the construction of your solution.

In the context of an initiative/ a project, you identify and recommend suitable solutions to meet the target architecture including contributing to the tender as a solutions expert.

In the context of an initiative/ a project, you define the transition path between the current and the target information system, considering business, technical, legal/regulatory and financial constraints.

In the context of an initiative/ a project, you act as the liaison between enterprise architecture and IT engineers to ensure alignment of the end-to-end solution with enterprise architecture standards, principles and domains target architectures.

In the context of an initiative/ a project, you participate in the estimation and planning of future initiatives through identification of technical scope, activities, resource requirements, risks and issues.

In the context of an initiative/ a project, you provide mentoring and guidance to solution designers and engineers to ensure end-to-end consistency of the solution delivery.

In the context of the BAU, you drive technology innovation for your division by closely following industry trends and understanding their impact on technology.

In the context of the BAU, you provide answers to the accumulated technical debt, and you make the usage models evolve towards the needs of the organization.

In the context of the BAU, you provide your advices and expertise to Enterprise and Domain Architects during feasibility studies and domain architecture works.

In the context of an initiative/ a project, you trigger Governance Bodies and impacted Domain Architects when you detect deviations from target architecture, standards and principles.

In the context of an initiative/ a project, you collaborate with Product Business Analysts to fully understand business needs and ensure their coverage by the end-to-end solutions.

In the context of the BAU, you participate in identifying, defining, documenting and reusing standard solutions and design patterns

In the context of the BAU, you participate actively to communities of practice with other end-to-end solution designers and domain architects to collaborate and share on best practices and lessons learned.

In a context of change, warranty that permanent IT solution design documentation is well up to date once the solution is operational

Skills

You have already worked in the IT banking domain and you understand its main concepts and concerns

Qualifications 

Typically have 7+ (Jr), 9+, 12+ years (Sr) of IT and business/industry work experience including architecture design and deployment, preferably in the BFSI sector. 

Requires exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments. 

Experience with Service Oriented Architecture, Cloud technologies, microservices, event driven architecture, integration patterns, APIs, …..

Experience with Enterprise Architecture Frameworks, tools and notations (e.g., ArchiMate Tools, TOGAF, IAF, UML)

Experience in an agile environment strongly preferred 

Experience with SAFe framework
