Role and responsibilities :

Candidates should have Knowledge and competence in Unix / Oracle / SQL, scripting, Java programing must.

Your team 

You’ll be working as a part of level 2 team in TOC organization, which supports platform called Molecular. Molecular is a brand new mission critical platform which is being built with an aim to design, engineer and host a multi-tenant solution using technologies like Confluent Kafka, Elastic Search, Flink to name a few. We provide world class operational support to existing tenants and are working towards onboarding more with the focus on enhancing the technologies which will benefit the various businesses within the bank. The Pune team is a part of global team located in London, Switzerland, Nashville and Poland providing 24x5.5 support. A strong emphasis is placed on identifying and implementing improvements to resolve performance issues, bottlenecks and other potential areas for optimisation. The team works seamlessly with colleagues, developers, business analysts and project managers to identify and implement improvements to support procedures and tools to further enhance the availability and stability of this mission critical platform.

Your experience and skills 

You have:

– Previously worked in an environment providing continuity and stability in a global production

   organization

– Experience in managing and resolving production issues in a timely manner to minimize impact

– Managed change and risk to co-ordinate software releases into production

_ Experience in leading a small team of analysts and can work independently

– Reviewed and influenced design, architecture, standards and methodologies across a distributed

   platform and infrastructure technology stack

– Strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills (you know how to figure stuff out)

– A good understanding of Linux/Unix and docker

_ Exposure to ITIL processes and well versed with Incident and problem management.

– Good to have hands on experience working with Kubernetes, Kafka , Elastic Search and Flink.

– Some exposure to cloud technologies like Microsoft Azure/AWS will be an added advantage

·        Ideally 8+ years of strong hands-on experience in Java Stack of Technologies

·        Strong knowledge of App Dynamics architecture especially on implementation of Application Business Transaction Monitoring, Synthetic Monitoring, End user experience monitoring and Configuration

·        Worked on Containerized Applications (Using Dockers, Swarm / Kubernetes or similar technologies)

·        Working knowledge on Azure / Cloud environment especially Azure Analytics

·        Experience on Splunk and/or Moogsoft AIOps is a must

·        Must have exposure on Micro services platform, UNIX and Web Application

·        Proven core problem solving skills, can do attitude and self-motivated and zeal to learn and implement new technologies

·        Must have awareness of industry changes and cultural shifts is highly desirable, e.g. SRE

·        Must have worked in an Agile environment

·        Ideally will have worked on external client-facing systems

·        Added Advantage having exposure to REST webservice and/or API development experience, JavaScript, HTML and CSS skills, experience implementing Visual Designs.
