Junior Life Sciences Research & Partnerships Analyst at Facultas Partners - an investment and advisory firm that assists emerging life sciences companies based in the US & the EU seeking to cross the Atlantic (remote).
Facultas Partners is an investment and advisory firm that bridges the Atlantic to bring together emerging life science companies to accelerate growth and mitigate risks.
Their strategic advisory activity is exclusively transatlantic and centered on life sciences. They advise and assist emerging life sciences companies based in the US & the EU seeking to cross the Atlantic. The team is spread across 3 different time zones - European CEST, and American CET and EST.
The company invests across all life sciences areas: Therapeutics, Med Tech, Diagnostics, and Digital Health.
Currently, they're looking for a Junior Market Research & Partnership Analyst to join our team. If you are looking for an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team of professionals, then this is the role for you!
What will you do?
- Conduct market research on the life sciences industry using data services to identify potential partners & opportunities of the company in different markets (EU, US).
- Identify M&A opportunities and prepare visual reports for C-level management and clients based on your research.
- Prepare various documents and reports for clients.
- Communicate and collaborate with colleagues across different time zones.
Requirements:
- Excellent written & spoken English skills - you’ll be working in English and your tasks require an Advanced level of English, so we don't want to hear or see any mistakes.
- 1-2 years of experience in Life Sciences industry either from studies, work, lab, hospital or digital health.
- Research skills – you love digging for relevant info and can find the most hidden facts and data.
- Analytical skills - - you can extract, structure, analyze the data, and come up with conclusions based on the information you receive.
- Excellent attention to detail – you should be someone who cares about every small aspect, double-checking others' mistakes.
- Great written communication skills are essential as you will need to communicate with the partners of the company. Effective communication is key.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Self-reliance & focus on results - you can independently organize your own work, set goals, and achieve results. There will be no guidance and micro-management, you need to feel confident working on your own most of the time.
- Proactiveness and a strong willingness to help the business grow - we expect you to be a person with many ideas, not just an executor.
- Curiosity, willingness, and ability to learn are important as this job opportunity provides a great chance to learn about the inner processes of advisory firms and understand the philosophy behind entrepreneurship and science.
- Organizing skills - you know exactly how to organize your work and personal time and don't want any minute to go to waste.
Not necessary but will be a plus:
- Ongoing/complete Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences or a related field (ideally Biology, Chemistry, Bio-engineering).
- Proficiency in French or German languages.
- Experience in Investment Banking.
Working hours:
You'll need to work from 4 pm to 8 pm (Warsaw time), having a few overlapping hours with American and European managers (press here to check your time difference with the EST time zone). We will ask you to track your working hours, so it should be exactly from 4 to 8 pm CET.
