Salary: 18.75/hr + 35% Commission Rate on Completed Jobs

Blended Potential Rate: 48-52/hr

About the Role:

Green Ductors is looking for an experienced and motivated HVAC Manager to oversee both technical operations and team development across New York and New Jersey. This position combines hands-on HVAC work with the responsibility of training and guiding technicians, managing logistics, and ensuring smooth, efficient operations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using field software like Workiz, Housecall Pro, FieldPlus, etc, to streamline processes and improve team productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality HVAC system installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for residential and commercial clients.
• Lead and train less experienced technicians, providing guidance on technical skills, safety procedures, and best practices.
• Oversee the logistics of daily operations, including scheduling, routing, and managing service calls to ensure timely delivery.
• Utilize field software (Workiz, Housecall Pro, FieldPlus) to manage customer work orders, communication, and team coordination.
• Address and resolve operational challenges or customer issues in a prompt and professional manner.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience as an HVAC technician, with a strong knowledge of HVAC systems, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Previous experience with field service software such as Workiz, Housecall Pro, FieldPlus, etc, is highly preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record, as travel across New York and New Jersey will be required.
