Are you interested in working for a 5000+ global software company, doing extremely challenging and interesting work? We have an exciting opportunity for a professional to join us as a Cash Application Analyst.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Posting of daily cash receipts
- Assigned key person and accountable for timely and accurately application of payment, Credit Memo and Journal Entry to the customer accounts
- Distribute unapplied cash collections, Credit Memo and Journal Entry to the Collectors
- Coordinate with Treasury on the weekly actual cash report
- Work with Manager on the monthly AR reporting requirements that includes cash collection forecasting
- Document all recurring procedures to ensure that this function could be effectively handed over to a replacement (temporarily or permanently)
- Build strong and effective working relationships with external / internal customer and WW within Finance Team
- Identify and Initiate process improvements
- Maintain an effective filing system for all physical and soft correspondence and records pertaining to the role
- Other Adhoc projects and duties as required.
Qualifications/Skills
- Qualified Accountant preferred (CPA) and 5 years relevant experience in a multinational company.
- Previous experience working across geographies an advantage;
- Strong computer literacy, particularly Excel & Word, experience with Netsuite & Concur an advantage
- Strong desire to meet / exceed targets and deliver within deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with both internal and external customers and strong English language skills (written & spoken)
- Displays initiative in the carrying out of their duties, constantly looking for ways to improve processes to promote efficiency or strengthen control
- Strong organizational and priority skills
- High degree of accuracy and reliability in data processing and financial analysis
- Willingness to take on additional projects or workload from time to time
- Mature & professional approach to work to ensure the person respects the confidentiality of the data they are responsible for and has the confidence of other employees so they are willing to disclose such data
- Ability to work and deliver within tight deadlines and willingness to work longer than standard hours to ensure a task is completed on time when required
- Ability to work effectively with both internal and external customers
