Qualifications: 

·         Fluent English – the sales rep must be able to carry on a full conversation with a native English speaker

·         Good internet connection – the sales rep must have the ability to communicate by phone without any interruptions from equipment or bad connection

·         Some knowledge of the game of chess – it is preferrable to know the rules of chess, so as to be able to explain some differences between different level programs and coaches

·         Flexible hours: as you will see the job compensation is based more on commissions than on the base salary, and therefore the management expects to find a team member, who would be interested in earning more by doing more. There are no set days or hours for the job – just the Key Production Indicators, which we expect to be fulfilled or surpassed. 

Responsibilities: 

·         Calling hot prospects from incoming email requests, answering calls of prospective clients and selling them chess-related services. 

·         Researching and reaching out by phone and email to prospective schools to market our after-school chess programs

·         Interacting with current clients to upsell them on new or additional chess services.

·         Managing client flow to assure they are connected with their class or coach

·         Reporting progress through the CRM system and by email to the management team

Compensation: 

$1000/month plus commissions-based bonus based on closed sales. 

Commissions will be based on the following: Full semester sold: $30, Camp/Workshop Week Sold: $30

Private class sold: $30, After-school program sold: $1000. Chess Max Academy will have a trial period of 45 days, in which it is expected that the Sales Rep will close at least 60 deals. This would mean a commission of at least $1800 above the salary in the first 45 days.. Therefore the minimum expected compensation would come to 1000 plus 1200 in commissions or $2200/month.
